Yo Gabba Gabba!

Last week Sophie and I went to the Yo Gabba Gabba show that came to town. I wasn't going to get tickets at first but then a friend had some extra tickets for pretty cheap so we went with Kelli and Emery. Sophie loves Gabba Gabba and had lots of fun and still talks about it. We even got her a little souvenir Foofa shirt after the show.

DJ Lance came out first to and introduced the characters. My battery died on my camera right after this picture so I didn't get any more. Kelli took some for me so when I get those I'll put more up.

St. George - Take 2

So I heard about this 1/2 marathon in St. George that runs through Snow Canyon and Erin & I decided we wanted to run it. Our hubbys were nice to take the kiddos for a night and we got to have a girls 24 hours without kids. We had so much fun, we headed down Friday afternoon and got to St. George in time for dinner and to pick up our race packets. Saturday morning was the race. The first 4 miles ran on the same course as the St George marathon which happened to be the most scenic part of the course by the white and red rock formations. We then turned into the north entrance of Snow Canyon State park and ran all the way through the park, then through Entrada and finished at the high school. The course was fast, beautiful and so fun. It is my new favorite race. I finished in 1 hr 50 min and Erin in 2 hr 7 min. A personal record for each of us. We then relaxed in the pool/hot tub back at my Dad's place then got lunch and stopped at the outlets for some shopping before heading back home. We had a great time and want to make it a yearly tradition.
