Happy 4th

We did the usual 4th of July things this year. Got up to go to the parade in Provo, went swimming in the afternoon then drove back down to Provo for dinner with the family. Dan and Anne were in town so it was fun to spend time with them, Soph loves playing with uncle Dan. After dinner Chris and I biked down to the stadium with Soph in the Chariot and stayed up till 1am watching the fireworks. Fun day!

Meet Lily

I'm finally getting around to posting about baby Lily. Today I had my 5th ultrasound with miss Lily. She has a SAU or single artery umbilical cord (there should be 2 arteries) so there has been much worry about how she is developing as a small percentage of babies with this can have serious problems. The Dr's were happy to report she is growing and developing well, especially the heart & kidneys were what they were concerned about, actually she is measuring a little big for her age so that is great news. We were very relieved. They said it wasn't necessary to come back for any more ultrasounds unless my Dr thought otherwise. We are happy she is doing so well and hope to meet her around Oct 26th or sometime between mid Sept and Oct based on Sophie's early arrival. Here is a picture from today's ultrasound. Can't tell what your looking at? Her face/head is on the right, she is curled up in a ball with feet sticking up on the left. It's a profile view so you can see her nose and a little hand sticking up by her face.
