Tulip Festival

We went to the Tulip Festival again this spring as it's become one of our favorite traditions. This year has been so cold and wet they extended it another week, we went on one of the final days and there were still many tulips that haven't bloomed yet.

Scooter Girl

Sophie got a new scooter, she's been having fun and is learning fast how to ride it.

Easter

Sophie got to color Easter eggs for the first time this year. She had lots of fun and had stained fingers for the next few days.

Birthday Girl

Sophie turned 3 yesterday, it was a full day, first Chris took her to McDonalds for breakfast then they went swimming, in the evening we celebrated by having our friends over for dinner, cake & ice cream and opening some presents.

She's on a big Mickey Mouse kick right now so I made her a Mickey cake (which she dipped her finger in before the party started) and she got lots of Mickey presents.

Time to open presents! Sophie loves the show Mickey Mouse clubhouse. In many of the episodes, they wear party hats for various celebrations. She wanted party hats for her party too.





Jack got her a Mack truck from the movie Cars. She's been wanting Mack forever to complete her collection so she was very excited to get a Mack! She even had to have it in her bed last night.
