Surprise

We had a 2 for 1 airline ticket that was about to expire so we surprised Sophie and she and I went to Disneyland for 1 day. We flew out to LAX late on Friday night, got to the hotel about 12:30am, spent Saturday at Disneyland/California land and flew home Sunday at 1pm. It was a quick trip but we had a lot of fun. Unfortunately it was crowded at the parks, lots of waiting so we didn't get to do too many rides.

We wanted to see the new cars land. It was a 3 hour wait to get on the main cars ride when we got there at 11am and all the fast passes were gone for the day, so we did a few other rides and came back in the late afternoon and it was still a 2 hour wait. Sophie really wanted to ride it so we waited. It ended up being slightly longer then 2 hours but was a fun ride. Here are some pictures of our day.

Riding Maters tractor ride

We spent the last hour at the park riding the Goofy airplane roller coaster. There was no one in line for it so we rode it over and over probably 15 times. Soph loves her roller coasters. We also rode Space Mountain and the matterhorn over in Disneyland. Sadly those were the only 2 rides we did in that park. Again it was 1 hour waits for each of those rides. We could only fit in a few rides that day but we still had lots of fun!

Sophie actually chose to wear pants and a long sleeve shirt today. It only lasted through school, as soon as she got home she changed back into her shorts and t-shirt.

Matching Sisters

I noticed Sophie and Lily had these matching PJ's. Not planned. The PJ's Lily has on are from when Soph was a baby and the PJ's Sophie has on, I bought last year. 2 different brands but same material.

Lily 3 months

Christmas

We had a fun Christmas. Dinner and white elephants with the Cindrich's on the 23rd. Breakfast for dinner and games/gifts with the McLeans on Christmas Eve. Christmas day Soph made a haul. Most of the gifts were for her. Lily got a few little things and our present was the Hawaii trip.

Sophie put out a plate with an apple and 1 cookie for Santa and Mrs. Clause. She said santa wanted an apple instead of cookies

Her favorite present a jake and the neverland pirate ship. She specifically sent Santa a letter asking for it. She also asked for a remote control rocket ship. Santa only delivered on the pirate ship.
