The Yard

Our yard is almost finished. We started Memorial weekend and will probably finish by Labor day weekend. What a way to spend the summer. All that's left is to re-pour the driveway which we had to tear up because it got crushed by the heavy machinery and fix the areas around the driveway. Here are some picts

Cute Sophie

I bought Sophie a little sun hat for when we are outside. She looks too cute in it. We've noticed she has been favoring her left hand a lot, she always has it in her mouth and likes to grasp at things with it while the right hand just sits there. We may have a lefty in the family.

Fun day out

Last Saturday we took a break from the never ending yard project and had some fun. After packing Sophie up we went to the farmers market in Pioneer park.

We then headed up to Park City and spent all afternoon at the Arts Festival then ended the evening at the outlets where we picked up some cute fall clothes for Sophie. It was a fun day!

New Toy

Now that I've started working again I saw this toy in the store and thought Sophie would like it or at least it would take some of the boredom out of hanging out in a swing or on the floor all day while mom and dad work on their computers. She really likes it and likes to kick and stare at dangling animals.

Tummy Time

We have been giving Sophie about 15-20 minutes a day of tummy time. She doesn't mind the first 5 minutes or so but then she starts to get mad. I don't think she likes it very much. Chris says it's because it's to hard for her to hold up her big chubby cheeks.

So tired after Tummy Time

Just some cute pictures of Sophie

We took these pictures over the last week or so of Sophie. She is getting big almost 3 months old and probably weighs around 10 pounds.

4th of July

We started our 4th bright and early. I ran the 10K in Provo and Chris and Sophie came to watch

We then headed to watch the parade with the Pfunder family. Sophie slept through the whole thing.

After the parade we went home to work in the yard. Our sod was just installed! Sophie also has started smiling a litttle and we caught her smiling in the car on the way home.

Here is where the yard is at so far.

At night we drove back down to Provo to watch the fireworks at the stadium of fire with Chris's family. We sat right outside the stadium and had a great view of the fireworks. Sophie didn't even flinch. She was so good and they didn't scare her.
