Disneyland Paris and Vaux-le-Vicomte

Our 3rd day of the trip we went to Paris Disneyland!

Riding Dumbo
Getting ready to ride the cars

Sophie's telling this kid which color car she wants. He probably didn't understand what she was saying.

Sophie sporting her new hat. They don't have mouse ears like they do in the states mostly ball caps.

Waiting for the parade to start.

She got a visit from Piglet.

Small World

We found a few characters hanging out.
Soph was most excited to see Mr. Smee. she really likes him from the new little show Jake and the neverland pirates, or pirate kids show as she calls it.

Riding the "roller coaster"
Buzz Lightyear ride

Outside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
By 6pm most of the crowds left the park, it was nice we got on any ride within 5-10 minutes.
Good Night Disneyland!

On July 4th we visited Vaux-le-Vicomte. It was the finance ministers house who only lived in it for a month when he invited the king to a house warming party. The king got jealous and imprisoned him and took his house. I really enjoyed this palace, there were no crowds and it was just beautiful.

The gardens in the back

Sophie entertaining herself with Buzz, Rex and a 5 euro bill which was her "ticket"
We rented a golf cart to explore the gardens/grounds, it was the best 15 euros spent as it let us see all the grounds and Sophie enjoyed the ride.

Inside the palace
I loved the kitchen

Sophie and I enjoying a snack of nutella crepes while waiting for Dad to finish touring the palace.
More gardens

Sophie enjoyed playing in the "maze"
We spent all day here it was 6pm when we finally left and had a 6 hour drive to Switzerland, we got into our hotel in Lausanne at Midnight.

Wow that palace looks awesome. And that is great you could rent a golf cart to explore. I agree with you about the kitchen. Love it!
